Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Use for Interaction with Users (“Interaction Terms”) govern your interactions with users on Connect & Meet app (the "Platform"), owned and operated by ZAMBOSTAYS (“we,” “us,” or “Company”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Interaction Terms, as well as the general Terms of Use Connect & Meet.

 

1. PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM AND ROLE OF USERS:


Connect & Meet is designed to create meaningful social interactions where Users can engage in conversations, share experiences, and enjoy a safe online community environment. USERS on Connect & Meet are carefully selected to foster welcoming and respectful interactions. USERS are individuals who engage with users on the Platform to create a positive, moderated environment. To ensure safe and enjoyable interactions, Users are expected to follow these Interaction Terms.


2. ACCEPTABLE USER CONDUCT WITH USERS:


Users must adhere to these guidelines when interacting with Users to ensure respectful, safe, and constructive experiences:

Engage Respectfully: Users are expected to communicate with other users politely and respectfully, refraining from any language or behavior that could be perceived as disrespectful or offensive.

Maintain Professional Boundaries: Personal questions or topics that may infringe on the privacy or comfort of the Host are not permitted. Users should engage with Users in a manner consistent with on Connect & Meet community standards.

Follow Platform Guidelines: Users must comply with all on Connect & Meet rules, including content standards and moderation guidelines, when interacting with Users.


3. PROHIBITED USER CONDUCT TOWARD USERS:


The following conduct is strictly prohibited in interactions with Users:

Harassment and Abusive Behavior

Users must not engage in any form of harassment or abusive behavior towards Users. This includes, but is not limited to:

Harassment: Repeated or unwanted contact, including messaging or attempts to engage the Host outside of Platform rules.

Abusive Language: Use of profanity, insults, or other derogatory language towards Users.

Intimidation or Threats: Any form of threatening or intimidating language or actions toward Users is prohibited.

Discrimination and Offensive Language:

Discriminatory Conduct: Users must not engage in or promote any discriminatory behavior, including but not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, or hate speech targeting the Host or others on the Platform.

Offensive Language: The use of offensive language, including slurs, sexual innuendo, or comments of an explicit nature, is strictly prohibited.

Inappropriate Content Requests

Users are strictly prohibited from:

Requesting Personal or Sensitive Information: Users may not ask Users to share personal information such as their phone number, address, or any other private details.

Soliciting Unlawful Content: Requests for any content that is illegal, explicit, obscene, or otherwise prohibited by law or the Platform’s guidelines are strictly forbidden.

Spamming and Disruptive behaviour:

Off-Topic or Irrelevant Content: Users must keep their interactions relevant to the context of the conversation. Off-topic content that disrupts the flow of discussion is not allowed.


4. PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY IN INTERACTIONS:


Respecting Host Privacy: Users are not permitted to ask for or attempt to obtain any private information about Users beyond what they have shared publicly on the Platform.

No Unauthorized Recording or Distribution: Users are prohibited from recording, screenshotting, or otherwise capturing interactions with Users without explicit permission. Sharing Host interactions on other platforms without consent is a violation of these Terms.

5. CHILD SAFETY:


We are committed to protecting children from online harm. We have implemented the following measures to ensure a safe and appropriate experience for all users:

Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE):

We adhere to industry best practices and published standards regarding the prevention and mitigation of CSAE. This includes:

Prohibiting any content or behavior that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, and the solicitation of minors.

Actively monitoring our platform for any signs of CSAE. We utilize a combination of automated tools and human review to identify and remove harmful content.

In-App Feedback Mechanism:

We provide an in-app mechanism for users to report any concerns or suspected violations of our child safety policies. This may include reporting buttons, contact forms, or other channels for user feedback.

Addressing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM):

We have robust policies and procedures in place to detect, report, and remove CSAM. This includes:

Utilizing industry-leading technology to scan for and identify potential instances of CSAM. This may include image recognition software and other automated tools.

Cooperating with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations to investigate and report suspected cases of child exploitation.


6. VIRTUAL GIFTS AND PAYMENTS:


Users may use virtual Coins to purchase gifts and show appreciation to users on the Platform. These virtual transactions are governed by the following policies:

Purchase and Use of Virtual Coins:

No Cash Equivalent: Virtual Coins purchased on the Platform are not exchangeable for cash or any real-world currency.

Non-Refundable Purchases: All purchases of virtual Coins and gifts are final and non-refundable.

Token of Appreciation Only: Virtual gifts should be understood as tokens of appreciation within the Platform. Sending gifts to Users does not imply any additional privileges or expectations of preferential treatment.


7. CONTENT STANDARDS FOR USER INTERACTIONS WITH USERS:


Users must adhere to content standards while interacting with Users. Violations of content standards may result in penalties, including account suspension. Content shared during interactions with Users must meet the following criteria:

Compliance with Legal Standards:

No Illegal Content: Users must not share content that is illegal, including anything that is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited by law.

Respect for Host Safety and Well-being: Any content shared should not endanger the safety, privacy, or well-being of Users or other Platform users.

Community Standards for Content:

No Promotion of Harmful behavior: Users must not engage in or promote content that encourages violence, hatred, self-harm, or other harmful behaviors.

Constructive Engagement: Users are encouraged to maintain constructive and respectful interactions, ensuring that the Platform remains a safe space for all users and Users.


8. REPORTING AND MODERATION:


CONNECT & MEET has a robust system for reporting inappropriate behavior, and violations of these Terms are taken seriously.

Reporting Violations:

Reporting Mechanism: Users and Users are encouraged to report any violations of these Interaction Terms through the in-app reporting feature.

Confidential Review: Reported content will be reviewed confidentially by our moderation team, and appropriate action will be taken.

Confidential Review:

Warnings and Suspensions: Minor violations may result in warnings, while serious or repeated violations will lead to temporary or permanent suspension of the User's account.

Zero Tolerance Policy for Severe Violations: Severe violations, including harassment, solicitation of personal information, or abuse, profanity may result in immediate termination of the User's account.

Forfeiture of Virtual Goods: If a user’s account is terminated due to a breach of these Interaction Terms, any virtual Coins or gifts associated with the account may be forfeited.


9. USER RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY:


Users are solely responsible for their actions and communications on the Platform.

Acceptance of Consequences:

By using the Platform, Users agree to bear the consequences of any violations of these Terms, including the potential loss of account access or other penalties imposed by the Company.

Liability for Damages:

Users agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any damages resulting from violations of these Interaction Terms, including any harm caused to Users, other Users, or the Company.


10. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:


CONNECT & MEET provides a Platform for social interactions but makes no guarantees or representations regarding individual user interactions.

Platform as a Service:

The Platform and Host interactions are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without any express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability:

The Company is not liable for any damages arising from User interactions with Users, including emotional distress, misunderstandings, or other negative outcomes from interactions on the Platform.


11. CHANGES TO THE INTERACTION TERMS:


The Company reserves the right to update these Interaction Terms at any time. Notifications of any significant changes will be provided through the Platform, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.


GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM:

For   concerns or complaints related to interactions with Users, Users may   contact the Grievance Officer. Our Grievance Officer is available to   address all user concerns regarding Platform usage and user   interactions.

Community Guidelines

The Community Guidelines help keep our members safe. They make it clear what content and conduct is not acceptable on our platform. Complying with these rules contributes to a thriving community that embraces diversity, fosters constructive discussions, and ensures a safe environment for all. Failure to abide by these guidelines may lead to appropriate actions, including but not limited to content removal, informing authorities if necessary, and potential account suspension or termination. These measures are taken to uphold the integrity and well-being of our community.

Please be aware that this is not an exhaustive list, and there may be other instances that may violate these guidelines. Violating these guidelines may lead to serious legal consequences as per Indian law.


Profile Guidelines:

Age: You need to be at least 18 years old to join Connect & Meet App. Creating a profile that intentionally misrepresents you as being under the age of 18 is not allowed. 


Content and Conduct Guidelines:

We maintain strict guidelines on acceptable content and conduct. These include prohibitions on:

Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity: We don’t permit nude, sexually explicit, or sexually vulgar profile content. We also don’t allow the commercial exchange of any romantic or sexual activity, content, or services, including attempts to sell, advertise, or buy adult sexual content.

Audio and Video Call Restrictions: However, we don’t allow the following in audio and video calls:

Nudity and Pornography:

People where the following is shown, even if covered or partially covered by emojis, hair, or transparent clothing:

Sexual acts of any kind, even if not explicitly visible.

Any material involving child pornography, grooming activities, or depictions of child sexual abuse.

Harassment or Bullying:

Abusive Language: Examples: Using offensive language or curse words during calls.

Discrimination: Examples: Insulting or harassing someone based on their gender, race, ethnicity, etc. (physical characteristics, such as skin colour, facial features, and hair texture, which are often used to categorize people into groups. This is typically associated with shared ancestry and genetic traits).

Non-Consensual Sharing: Examples: Taking/Clicking or sharing someone's personal images without their permission.

Prohibited Actions and Content:

Bullying: Examples: Threatening or repeatedly bothering someone.

Nudity: Examples: Appearing naked or showing body parts on camera. (Coming on camera shirtless/only wearing a vest).

Sexual Content: Examples: Discussing sexual topics or showing inner wear or underwear.

Hate Speech: Examples: Making derogatory comments about a race or religion.

Religious and Community Content: Examples: Insulting any religion/religious symbols or spreading hate propaganda.


General Guidelines for All Users:

Age Requirement: Requirement: All users must be 18 years or older.

Respectful Communication: Examples: Do not share personal information of others without consent.

Legal Compliance: Examples: Follow all applicable laws and regulations during calls.

Reporting Violations: Examples: Report any behavior that breaks these guidelines immediately. 

Sexual Harassment: Our mission at Connect & Meet App is to foster healthy and equitable relationships through kind connections, so we wholly prohibit sexual harassment. We consider sexual harassment to be any non-physical, unwanted, and unwelcome sexual behaviors between members.

Committing in-person indecent exposure (i.e., unwanted flashing on a date).

Members should not:

Engage in any bullying, belittling, insulting, mocking, trolling, intimidating, dehumanizing, or degrading behavior

Engage in emotional abuse and/or manipulation

Release a person’s private contact information, photos, or other personally identifying information without their consent

Create a profile with malicious intent to publish defamatory content about a person

This includes content about public figures. Members are permitted to express their criticism of public figures, but we will not tolerate abusive conduct in any form.


Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse:

We have a zero tolerance policy towards any form of child sexual exploitation and abuse. We don’t allow content that sexualizes or endangers children, real or fictional (e.g. anime, media, text, illustrations, or digital images). This includes any visual depictions or discussions of sexually explicit conduct involving a child. For the purposes of this policy, a child is anyone under the age of 18. It’s prohibited to upload, store, produce, share, or entice anyone to share child sexual abuse material, even if the intent is to express outrage or raise awareness about this issue

We don’t allow profile photos of babies’, toddlers’ or children’s genitalia or buttocks even when they’re covered or partially covered by emojis. Any violation of this policy will result in a member being removed from Connect & Meet App and reported to the authorities.

Controlled Goods and Substances:

We don’t allow members to use our platforms to buy, sell, supply, distribute, or directly facilitate the purchase, sale, supply, or distribution of illegal drugs and/or the misuse of controlled goods and substances. This includes: e-cigarettes, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, or the misuse of legal substances like prescription drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.


Identity-Based Hate:

We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive community on Connect & Meet App. We prohibit content or behaviour that promotes or condones hate, dehumanization, degradation, or contempt against marginalized or minoritized communities based on the following protected attributes: race/ethnicity, national origin/nationality/immigration status, caste, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability or serious health condition, or religion/belief.


Inauthentic Profiles:

Connect & Meet App celebrates authenticity, and we expect all our members to represent themselves accurately on their profile. We don’t allow impersonation or misrepresentation on our platform. This includes cat-fishing (i.e. creating an online persona that isn’t you) or falsely stating facts about yourself (including name, gender, age, and permanent location).


Scams and Theft:

Connect & Meet App prohibits any scam or theft activity intended to defraud or manipulate members out of financial or material resources. This includes requesting or seeking financial support, lying about your intentions for financial gain, or faking romantic intentions to deceive members out of financial or material resources.


Our members play a critical role in the safety of Connect & Meet App by reporting content or behavior that may violate our Community Guidelines. If anything happens that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, we highly encourage you to Block & Report.

All members must comply with the platform rules described and referenced in our Community Guidelines. If you behave in a way that goes against Connect & Meet App’s Community Guidelines, values, or otherwise act in any way we believe to be potentially harmful to Connect & Meet App or its members, we may take a range of actions on your account. When determining the penalty for violating our community guidelines, we consider a number of factors.

For example, we may:

Ban the offending member from Connect & Meet App


When necessary, we also may cooperate with law enforcement to assist in potential criminal investigations related to member conduct. Your treatment towards others outside of the Connect & Meet App can also result in action against your account. If we’re made aware of harm between members on dates, meetups with friends, via text message or direct messaging platforms, or relevant alleged criminal or harmful conduct committed in your past or outside of Connect & Meet App, we may take action as if it happened on our platform. REFUND and CANCELLATION Policy

At Connect & Meet app, we aim to provide the great experience for our users. Please review our refund and cancellation policy below for more details:

Our platform operates on a coin-based system, where customers purchase coins as needed to access services.

Refunds for Payment Failures:

In the case of payment failures or issues during the transaction process, we thoroughly verify the problem and, if valid, refund the deducted amount to the customer’s account.

Coin Reversal for Technical Issues:

If a technical issue causes coins to be deducted without the user receiving the intended service, if confirmed, we reverse the coins to the customer’s account.

If refund gets approved, the amount will be credited to customer in 5-7 Working days

No Refund for Used Coins:

Once coins are used for services, they cannot be refunded or cancelled. We encourage users to ensure their coins are used for the desired services.
